EXPO 2010
The first World Fair took place in 1851 in London. Czechoslovakia and subsequently the Czech Republic have taken part in all of the World Fairs from the time they were established. The most successful World Fair for our country was the 1958 fair in Brussels. Czechoslovakia received a total of 56 awards, including the award for best pavilion. EXPO 2010 will be hosted by Shanghai, from 1st May until 31st October 2010.
