Winter ski resorts
The Czech Republic is surrounded by mountains and, as a rule, good winter conditions allow for winter sports to be enjoyed for several months. One can take advantage of hundreds of kilometers of groomed cross-country trails, downhill runs of varying difficulty, snow parks, skating and sledding. Most winter resorts in the Czech Republic are situated in national parks or in protected areas.
