Plzensky Prazdroj is the leading brewing company in Central Europe. It is the largest beer producer in the Czech Republic and is the largest exporter of beer to almost 50 countries all over the world.
Through its brands Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, Radegast and Velkopopovicky Kozel, Plzensky Prazdroj sells more beer on the Czech market than any other company.
Plzensky Prazdroj, a. s., is a member of the international group SABMiller plc, the second-largest brewing company in the world. The group's flagship brand for its international portfolio is Pilsner Urquell.

The company has a 49% share on the Czech market. In 2008, the total sales of beer produced by this company amounted to 10.7 million hectolitres of beer, the quantity exported was 881,000 hectolitres. The company's income in 2008 reached the value of CZK15.68 billion.
